MoL plans amendment to Musaned system

Musaned

A well-known source connected with the Musaned program spoke about the launch of different related mechanisms to the program at the beginning of the next year. It will first be on an experimental basis with the objective of developing it, organizing the work process between clients and recruitment offices, and linking these offices with their counterparts abroad to reduce time in bringing workers to the Kingdom.

Among things to be offered will be bonuses and other provisions through Musaned involving contracts via banks and then presenting them to offices and recruitment companies.

The source, who preferred anonymity, said the amendments include setting a specific mechanism for each labor-exporting country according its its conditions to avoid delays in recruitment, bonuses and a link between local offices with those abroad, and to benefit from all services provided. He said all recommendations will be collected, especially related to the Musaned program and circulated to all the countries involved.

The source said the Musaned amendments will be done electronically with applications made online as well as the choices presented by the offices, allowing follow-up of the process in all of its stages and with transparency. He added that all offices will be allowed to present their offers through the program and from all regions in the Kingdom.

The source clarified that the specified recruitment period is now 60 days, starting from the exchange of 25 percent of the value of the amount to the owner of the recruitment office, and the period ends when the visa is issued for the worker in the source country.
