Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, during Monday’s Cabinet meeting, urged the international community, including the United Nations to take action against Israel, to ensure it stops its violations against the Palestinian people, and ensure their rights are recognized.

The Cabinet valued the decision taken by the extraordinary meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation foreign ministers, which was held in New York, in response to Saudi Arabia’s call, which confirmed Palestinian sovereignty over east Al-Quds, and condemnation of Israel.

The Cabinet welcomed the political agreement reached between representatives of the Libyan parties in Sukhairat city, Morocco on the formation of a national unity government, which was announced by Bernardino Leon, the special envoy of the United Nations secretary general to Libya.

The Cabinet condemned the bombing in the capital of Turkey that led to many casualties, and said it stood by Ankara in its fight against terrorism.

The Cabinet also decided to include students with special needs in the private sector, with health and physical disabilities, to get certain financial rewards.

On the 85th National Day, the Cabinet underscored the security, stability and economic prosperity enjoyed by citizens.

All Muslims joined in this celebration because this was the country serving Islam, said Al-Toraifi.

The Cabinet was also briefed on the results of the visit to Russia by Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, second deputy premier and minister of defense and his meeting with President Vladimir Putin.

The Cabinet denounced the continuous violations against Al-Aqsa Mosque, Al-Quds and the West Bank, and the attacks on the Palestinian people by the Israeli occupation authorities and settlers, said Al-Toraifi.

In addition, it approved a memorandum of understanding on housing with the Russian Federation, signed in the city of Saint Petersburg earlier this year.
