Fewer fake Haj organizers this year
Minister for Haj Bandar Hajjar said that the electronic Haj service of the ministry successfully reduced the number of fake Haj organizers in operation in the Kingdom, and has also stopped the increase in prices of Haj packages.
The electronic services also cut down the time required by domestic pilgrims to complete all the necessary procedures for participating in Haj campaigns at reasonable prices.
“Pilgrims were previously wasting their time looking for Haj programs at fair prices. But the electronic services of the ministry have enabled these procedures to be completed much more easily,” Hajjar said during a speech at the third meeting of the Haj service companies.
Undersecretary of the Ministry for Haj Affairs Hussein Al-Sharif explained during the meeting that the electronic process of the online Haj services has raised awareness about various Haj campaigns among domestic pilgrims to show them the importance of the ministry’s activities to serve pilgrims.
The Haj minister discussed with the heads of the Haj service companies their achievements during the Haj season for this year, while also ordering three teams from the ministry to take technical notes of the electronic services, awareness issues and their relationship with other government agencies that also play a role in running the electronic services.
