The Indian Consulate organized a meeting of Indian community volunteers from various governorates that fall under the jurisdiction of the consulate in Jeddah on Saturday.

The luncheon meeting provided the volunteers with an opportunity to share their experiences and discuss various issues facing the community in their respective cities and governorates.

Consul General B.S. Mubarak and other consuls, including S.R.H. Fahmi and Anand Kumar, briefed the volunteers about the initiatives taken by the consulate and the Indian government in addressing the issues of blue-collared Indian expat workers.

The volunteers were also briefed on the Indian government’s MADAD and E-migrate initiatives.
