Roomz by Almutlaq and Zahra Breast Cancer Association have joined hands in launching a major initiative to fight breast cancer by raising awareness about the disease among women and inspire them to do more to confront it.

The Zahra annual campaign against breast cancer will have a new slogan this year:

“Discover the Secret”, wherein Zahra and Roomz have teamed up to reveal the secrets of overcoming cancer.

In this regard, interactive seminars have been planned in partnership with four women who bravely fought the disease. The four women will discuss their experiences of defeating the disease and the different forms of therapy.

Roomz & Zahra Association will endeavor to keep people across the Kingdom periodically up-to-date on the seminars through social media platforms.

The community will also have a chance to support Zahra Association by buying its products available at Roomz catwalk. Roomz will also donate part of October sales profits to Zahra as part of its commitment to support social activities and events benefiting citizens in Saudi Arabia.

Princess Haifa Al-Faisal, chairwoman of Board of Directors of Zahra Breast Cancer Association, stressed that the cooperation with Roomz has encouraged Zahra volunteers to enhance the status of voluntary activities in Saudi society.

This, Princess Haifa said, will help in confronting the disease, which is responsible for 14.8% of cancerous growths in the Kingdom, according to Saudi statistical records concerning tumors.

Fahd Almutlaq, CEO of Mutlaq Holding, expressed his pleasure at cooperating with Zahra Breast Cancer Association this year. He affirmed that this partnership was an initiative for raising awareness across society of the risks of breast cancer and the importance of early diagnosis.

Almutlaq observed that Roomz’s own commercial development should run in parallel with efforts to fulfill its obligations to the Saudi public.

He stated that Roomz would do everything in its power to support society and enhance its capacity for voluntary work — as one of the most fruitful practices for enriching human capital.
