King Salman, world leaders discuss key issues
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman had a series of meetings with world leaders on the sidelines of the G-20 summit in Antalya on Monday.
During their meeting, King Salman and Russian President Vladimir Putin reviewed bilateral relations. The latest developments in the region also came up for discussion. They discussed different aspects of cooperation between the two countries.
King Salman met separately with British Prime Minister David Cameron, during which they reviewed bilateral relations, the latest developments in the Middle East and the world.
King Salman had a fruitful meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. The two leaders reviewed bilateral relations and explored avenues of cooperation between the two countries. King Salman and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi also held talks and reviewed bilateral relations and aspects of cooperation between the two friendly countries, in addition to a number of topics on the agenda of the G-20 summit. During the meeting with French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius, the king expressed the Kingdom’s condemnation of the terrorist attacks and bombings that took place in Paris. He stressed the need for the international community to redouble efforts to eradicate this dangerous scourge and to rid the world of its evils that threaten world peace and security.
The meetings were also attended by Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Minister of State Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban, Minister of Culture and Information Adel Al-Toraifi, Minister of Foreign Affairs Adel Al-Jubeir, Minister of State, Cabinet member and acting chief of the Royal Court Khaled bin Abdul Rahman Al-Essa and a number of senior officials.
