Saudi king condemns Paris attacks in meeting with French FM

In a meeting with Minister Laurent Fabius on the sidelines of the G20 Summit in the Turkish resort city of Antalya on Monday, Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud condemned the Friday’s Paris attacks which claimed the lives of 129 people.

In addition to denouncing the attacks, claimed by the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria militant group, King Salman urged the redoubling of international efforts to “eradicate this dangerous scourge and rid the world if its evils that threaten world peace and security,” the Saudi Press Agency reported.

Fabius and King Salman also discussed a series of issues “of common interest” and topics that dominated the summit’s agenda.
