Pak ship in Jeddah on goodwill visited
Pakistan Navy warship PNS Tariq has arrived at Jeddah Islamic Port on a goodwill and training visit.
The ship, which arrived on Monday and is under the command of Capt. Syed Asad Ali Imran, had come from the Gulf of Aden after taking part in the international efforts against piracy and terrorism.
Members from the Royal Saudi Navy (RSN), including Naval and Air Attache Group Capt. Ibrahim Asad, were on hand to welcome the crew.
A reception was hosted onboard the PNS Tariq, which was attended by dignitaries and officers from the RSN, the consul general of Pakistan and crew members of Egyptian ships.

It also has a 114mm Mark 8 naval gun, two Oerlikon 20mm cannons, one Phalanx CIWS, two triple ASW torpedo tubes, two Mark 36 SRBOC chaff launchers, and a Type 182 towed decoy.
