King Salman holds talks with Barzani
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman receives Massoud Barzani, president of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, at his palace in Riyadh on Tuesday. They discussed ways to further enhance bilateral cooperation between the Kingdom and Iraq, in addition to issues of mutual concern. The King also hosted a luncheon banquet in honor of Barzani and his accompanying delegation.
The reception was attended by Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Naif, deputy premier and minister of interior, Deputy Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, second deputy premier and minister of defense, Prince Muqrin, Prince Miteb Bin Abdullah, minister of the National Guard, Riyadh Emir Prince Faisal Bin Bandar, Ibrahim Al-Assaf, minister of finance, Adel Al-Jubeir, minister of foreign affairs, Adel Al-Turaifi, minister of culture and information, and other princes and officials.
In another development, King sent a cable of greetings to UAE President Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan on the occasion of UAE’s National Day, which falls on Dec. 2. The crown prince and deputy crown prince also sent similar cable of greetings.
