CGI holds training for consular staff
The Consulate General of India organized its first interactive training session on best consular practices for the officials of the consular wing as well as the staff of its outsourcing agency here on Friday.
Consul General B.S. Mubarak inaugurated the session, which started at 10 a.m. and ended at 4 p.m.
Mubarak underlined the importance of the session, saying the counter staff should be polite and courteous while dealing with community members and others who approach them for various services.
Consulate officials explained to the participants the latest rules regarding passports, attestations and visas. The participants shared several doubts with the officials, who cleared them all.
Also on Friday, the consulate undertook two consular tours to Al-Baha and Yanbu to assist Indian community members living in the regions with their paperwork.
