Turkish authorities have arrested a suspected ISIS militant for allegedly planning a suicide attack on the U.S. Consulate in Istanbul, Dogan news agency said on Tuesday.

The suspected militant was of Syrian origin, Dogan said. Last week, the consulate cancelled its services for a day, citing information about a possible security threat.
