Deepika ruled Bollywood in 2015
From the untamed alleys to the showbiz runway, there’s a storm outside. Ladies and gentleman, hold on to those suspenders, that’s Deepika Padukone. Yes! The year 2015 was synonymous to Deepika Padukone and her success. With three blockbuster films in a row, ‘Piku’, ‘Tamasha’ and ‘Bajirao Mastani’, Dippy proved her acting skills yet again.
Her journey from a model to an actress has been nothing less than awe-inspiring. Success hasn’t come easy for Deepika and it is after a lot of struggle that she has made it to where she is. Over the years, she has carved a niche for herself in the industry and is among the best actresses today.
In a recent interaction with media, Deepika spoke about how the year 2015 turned out for her and on not working in ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo’ as rumors were quite upbeat on tiff between her and Salman Khan.
On being asked to outline 2015 in a word, the leggy lace said, “Phenomenonal! It’s been a roller-coaster ride, a whirlwind, but more than anything, it has been an incredible year. I couldn’t have asked for a better year. I am, sitting again with three very special releases and so many special memories.”
When the actress was questioned about her missing the opportunity to work in PRDP, and if she had any regrets, she quipped, “See films always belong to people who do them. It doesn’t matter who was offered or who didn’t do it. Thats’ why I talk about films that I have been offered. That’s not what matters, what matters eventually after the film has released is who the film belongs to and it belongs to those who have been a part of it.” Well said Deepika!
