Aramco stops bus service

Prince Saud bin Naif

Saudi Aramco has decided to stop transporting its staff to work from Qatif after one of its busses was attacked by four armed men and set alight on Tuesday in Qatif.

A letter was sent to the staff by the company stating the following: “This is to inform you the company will stop providing the transport service between your residence to the company until further notice, and as tomorrow is an official work day we ask that you arrange alternative transport to be at your job on time.”

The police in the Eastern Province said the men attacked the bus while it was passing through a residential neighborhood in Al-Qudaih. No one was injured.

The Eastern Province Gov. Prince Saud bin Naif said that the Kingdom would use an “iron fist” to deal with the terrorists.
