Lawyer Omar Al-Jahni, a legal adviser, warned WhatsApp group administrators against going easy on violations committed by their members which might harm the nation or general morals. He said they are responsible for what goes on in their groups

Al-Jahni called on administrators to report any suspicions related to leaking of information or official documents that threaten security, the national economy and social peace by calling judicial or security bodies. He called on them not to write anything on these groups until they are sure of its safety.

He said responsibility for the content of these messages lies with directors and supervisors of these groups, who should make sure messages don’t threaten the nation, the economy, general morals or different religions.
