Steps on land incursion Cleared
The Council of Ministers on Monday approved several arrangements on incursions on government land, including that the concerned government agency allow those who have done so to use the land for agriculture, commerce or service purposes at prices to be decided by the government.
However, conditions include that these incursions should not be on certain prohibited locations and those allocated for drinking water sources. In addition, incursions would only be allowed for 25 years, after which the person or entity must remove all construction.
The Cabinet approved a deal with Romania for mutual exemption from value added tax for diplomatic missions in both countries.
It further authorized the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources to sign a memorandum of understanding with Mexico for cooperation in the area of petroleum and gas.
