Governors hail King Salman’s first year on throne

The Kingdom’s governors have praised Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman for his initiatives to improve the economy and tackle regional and global challenges in his first year as the country’s leader.

These were the some of the remarks made by several governors in speeches to mark the first anniversary of his ascendance to the throne, according to a report on Wednesday.

Riyadh Gov. Prince Faisal bin Bandar said the king’s achievements would be recorded in the history of the region and the world because he had accomplished so much in a short time.

Tabuk Gov. Prince Fahd bin Sultan said it has been a year marked by firm and transparent decisions, which were aimed at the welfare of citizens and stability in the Arab and Muslim world.

Jazan Gov. Prince Mohammed bin Nasser said King Salman has made all Saudis proud and that they can celebrate because the country continues to prosper and provide for them.

Najran Gov. Prince Jelawi bin Abdulaziz said it has been a glorious year of achievements. The king has prioritized the welfare of citizens and strengthened the country’s position in the world with his initiatives.

The others who also expressed their pride and gratitude to King Salman include Al-Jouf Gov. Prince Fahd bin Badr, Asir Gov. Prince Faisal bin Khalid, Qassim Gov. Prince Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud, and Eastern Province Gov. Prince Saud bin Naif.

The others were Baha Gov. Prince Mishari bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Hail Gov. Prince Saud bin Abdulmohsen bin Abdulaziz, Madinah Gov. Prince Faisal bin Salman, and Northern Border Gov. Prince Mishaal bin Abdullah.
