Makkah governor meets Pakistan diplomats, hails ties

Makkah Gov. Prince Khaled Al-Faisal met with Pakistani diplomats here Monday on issues affecting the expatriate community including education.

Ambassador Manzoor ul Haq and Consul General Shehryar Akbar Khan attended the meeting. Prince Khaled said that Saudi Arabia enjoys good relations with Pakistan and expects this to grow further.

Manzoor ul Haq said that Pakistan holds the Kingdom and its leadership in high esteem, with the more than two million Pakistanis in Saudi Arabia serving as a bridge of friendship between the two countries.

Asif Hussain Memon, deputy consul general, said that issues affecting the community, including Pakistani schools, were also discussed during the meeting.
