France says ‘no question’ of strikes against ISIS in Libya

“There is absolutely no question of military intervention in Libya,” Fabius told reporters.

French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius on Tuesday refuted reports Paris was pushing for military action against the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) group in Libya.

“There is absolutely no question of military intervention in Libya,” Fabius told reporters on the sidelines of a Rome meeting of countries involved in combatting ISIS.

“There is pressure (for that) but that is not the position of the government.”
