The Saudi Embassy in Turkey has accredited 13 offices to issue visas and provide services, with the aim of boosting trade ties between the two countries.

The step has been taken to ease visa formalities for those who want to travel to Saudi Arabia and know its markets, especially Turkish investors, the Saudi embassy has been quoted as saying by local media.

Works at these offices had been temporary closed following the bombing in Ankara, and the embassy has urged Saudis not to go outside their headquarters and to take precautions.

The embassy also called on Saudi students studying in Turkey to follow instructions for their safety and avoid crowded areas.

The decision to earmark the offices was made on a directive by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif, deputy premier and interior minister.
