King chairs meeting of Fahd charity board
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman chaired at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh on Wednesday the first trustee meeting of the King Fahd Charity Foundation.
Addressing the meeting, the country’s leader paid tribute to the late King Fahd, describing him as a personal friend, teacher and leader. He praised him for his contribution to the development of the nation, which included education and various forms of philanthropy.
Prince Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, deputy chairman of the council of trustees, thanked the king and said the charity would focus on education, which was King Fahd’s passion as the country’s first education minister.
Those in attendance included Prince Saud bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Prince Sultan bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Sultan, consultant at the Royal Court, and Prince Faisal bin Turki bin Abdullah, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
Others who attended included Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Fahd, Prince Khalid bin Mohammed bin Fahd, Prince Saud bin Khalid bin Saud bin Mohammed, Prince Mohammed bin Saud bin Fahd, Prince Sultan bin Turki bin Mohammed bin Saud, Prince Mohammed bin Turki bin Mohammed bin Saud and Prince Fahd bin Turki bin Mohammed bin Saud.
