Citizens express solidarity with soldiers
A delegation from the Capital Model Institute (CMI) visited soldiers confined at the Prince Sultan Medical City in Riyadh.
“The visit is part of our campaign to show appreciation for the sacrifices of soldiers on behalf of the country and our religion,” said Adil Al-Tikhaim, CMI general manager.
The soldiers were injured in securing the Kingdom’s southern border in Jazan, Najran and Asir from intruders.
These intruders include illegal infiltrators and Houthi rebels and their cohorts who have been firing missiles at Saudi Arabia from Yemen.
The CMI delegation brought bouquets of roses as gifts and expressed their desire for the injured soldiers’ early recovery so that they could go back to their posts in support of their colleagues in the southern border areas.
They also expressed their support and appreciation for the bravery of the soldiers.
Earlier, the CMI organized a seven-day blood donation campaign for the soldiers which was conducted in cooperation with the King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center.
“The campaign comes within the activities of the Capital Model Institute in recognition of the bravery and selflessness of the soldiers,” Al-Tikhaim said.
During the visit, the CMI general manager was accompanied by other officials who included Mohamed Al-Khiluf, general manager’s assistant for educational development, Director of Finance and Administrative Affairs Abdul Rahman Al-Habayh, Director of Student Affairs Muhammad Sayyaf and Supervisor of Public Relations Saif Al-Subaie.
The delegation also included teachers and students who expressed their appreciation for the valor and sacrifices of the soldiers.
