Prince Khaled orders opening of two colleges
Makkah Gov. Prince Khaled Al-Faisal has ordered the Taif University management to establish two colleges for boys and girls in Taysan Province.
The Makkah governor, who’s also an adviser to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, issued the order while on a visit to the province recently.
He was received by Taysan Province Gov. Turki bin Khalid bin Humaid and other government officials as well as citizens of the province.
Prince Khaled Al-Faisal asked that a detailed and comprehensive plan for the project be drawn up and prepared for implementation.
He also inaugurated the Technical College building, then made a tour of the place and talked with the faculty members who expressed happiness regarding their job in helping the students carve out a bright future through education.
Prince Khaled Al-Faisal also held talks with the members of the local council who informed him of their needs and the problems in the province that needed to be addressed.
The Makkah governor also inaugurated the municipality’s new building and launched the vegetable market as well as the industrial park and garden.
The officials of the province led by Taysan Governor Turki bin Khalid bin Humaid expressed happiness and appreciation for the visit which “reflected the concern of Prince Khaled Al-Faisal for us.”
“The Makkah governor’s visit is a big event for us, specially for the ordinary citizens. That’s why they are here to welcome him. It’s a demonstration of his brand of responsible leadership,” the Taysan governor said.
