King Salman in Hafr Al-Baten to endorse final manoeuvre of North Thunder military exercise


The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud arrived in Hafr Al-Baten Governorate on Wednesday to patronize the final maneuver of North Thunder Exercise and the military parade of Saudi Armed Forces and the participating forces from brotherly countries in the exercise.

The King was received at King Saud Air Base Airport in the eastern sector by Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Region; Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense; Assistant Minister of Defense Mohammed Al-Ayesh; the Chief of General Staff General Abdulrahman Al-Bunyan; the commanders of the branches of the Armed Forces; senior officers of the Ministry of defense; and a number of officials and citizens.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques was accompanied by a number of princes, ministers and officials.

Upon the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ arrival, he listened to explanation on the general outline project of King Saud Air Base in the Eastern Sector and its facilities, and watched a film about the project’s designs and facilities.

Then the King pressed the button of laying the foundation stone for the construction project of King Saud Air Base, and signed the commemorative plaque of the project.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques left Riyadh earlier today for Hafr Al-Baten Governorate.

The King was seen off at King Salman Air Base Airport by a number of princes; ministers; and senior officials.
