Saudi Arabia’s Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman is set to meet with UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon.
Saudi UN Ambassador Abdallah Al-Mouallimi confirmed that the meeting will be taking place on Wednesday.
The meeting is set to discuss the crisis in Yemen. Riyadh was angered by the UN last week when a Saudi-led coalition was briefly blacklisted for killing children in the war-torn country.
The coalition was eventually removed from the blacklist after Ban agreed that the UN will review the facts and cases cited in the report jointly with the coalition.
