Yemeni Resistance Forces vow to continue until ‘Sanaa liberation’
According to Abdullah al-Shandaqi, the official spokesman of the Popular Resistance forces in Sanaa, military operations “will continue until all districts and governorates are freed and the capital is reached.”
Meanwhile, the resistance and the national army have taken control of multiple strategic mountains and positions on the Nehem front and in Taiz, around 16 people were killed and tens of Houthi- Saleh militiamen were injured during severe clashes on different fronts.
In Nehem, combat is exacerbating and the army and resistance, backed by the coalition, have laid their hands on the al-Bayad Mountains, al Qutub and other strategic positions overlooking al-Mahali after brutal clashes with the militias.
According to a source in the resistance, the al-Mahali village and valley and the main Sana’a-Marib valley road have become under control, allowing the army and the resistance to cut the main supply route for militias in Bani Barq, get hold of al-Kohl and al-Sanani and get closer to the al-Ghalimah valley.
In addition, the coalition’s fighter jets have launched new raids on the Houthis’ positions in the Saada governorate and in Sanaa where the Academy of Aviation, Air Defense and Military Reserves, and the Faj Attan camp were shelled.
In Taiz, men from Houthi militias and militias affiliated to ousted Yemeni former president Ali Abdullah Saleh were killed or injured during skirmishes on most of the city’s fronts.
The resistance and the national army were able to free al-Tair and Chaeb Soumi in the Hathran region, west of the city. In the al-Ahkoum region, located in the Hayfan district, south of Taiz, al-Tabbah al-Hamra came under control and the Hija alabed road linking Taiz to Adan became safe again while fighting is still raging on in the al-Aqbush mountain.
