The Minister of Education, Dr. Ahmed Al-Isa, has issued a general circular to all private and international schools instructing them to hire graduates of special education colleges.

The move comes as part of the ministry’s continuous efforts to tackle employment among college graduates in the Kingdom.

The circular directed these schools to utilize the services of both male and female graduates from these special education colleges by giving them work across a number of fields like assisted learning for those with disabilities, social studies or student guidance.

The circular added that those graduates, after being interviewed, can be also hired to work in other domains such as in administrative jobs.

Meanwhile, the circular promised that schools that respond positively to these instructions will receive a strategic advantage when calculating government financial aid.
