Saudi Arabia on Monday urged all Arab countries to stand with the Syrian people, and demand more from the international community to end the silence on the crimes of the Syrian regime.

During the weekly cabinet session, which was chaired by The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, the Kingdom called on Arab nations to “stand by the side of the Syrian people” and to exert “all possible efforts at the international level to provide safe havens to deliver relief for civilians.”

The cabinet also reiterated the Kingdom’s confirmation on the legitimate right of Middle Eastern countries in the peaceful usage of nuclear energy in accordance with International Agency for Atomic Energy standards.

In addition, the cabinet lauded the results of Gulf Shield 1 military maneuvers, which were conducted by Saudi royal naval forces in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea.
