King Salman receives UK PM May in Bahrain

They discussed ways to enhance relations and cooperation between the two countries, as well as how to tackle circumstances in the region.


Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received UK PM Theresa May at his guest residence in Manama on Tuesday.

During the meeting, they discussed relations and fields of cooperation between the two countries and ways of enhancing them in addition to the developments of situations in the region.

The audience was attended by Dr. Ibrahim Al-Assaf, Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet; Dr. Majed Al-Gasbi, Minister of Commerce and Investment; Dr. Adel bin Zaid Altoraifi, Minister of Culture and Information; Khalid bin Abdulrahman Al-Isa, Minister of State, Member of the Cabinet and Chief of Royal Court; Suleiman bin Abdullah Al-Hamdan, Minister of Transport; Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Jadaa, Minister of Finance; Dr. Nizar bin Obaid Madani, Minister of State for Foreign affairs; Thamer bin Sabhan Al-Sabhan, Minister of State for Arab Gulf Affairs; Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulmalik Al Al-Shiekh, Saudi ambassador to Bahrain; and Simon Collis, ambassador of the United Kingdom to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

They discussed ways to enhance relations and cooperation between the two countries, as well as how to tackle circumstances in the region.
