Sudan’s Bashir visits Saudi Arabia, holds talks with King Salman

A framework memorandum of understanding was signed on a Saudi grant to finance a project for providing drinking water in rural areas.


Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud held talks in Riyadh with Sudan’s President Omar Hassan Al-Bashir.

During the talks, both leaders discussed means of enhancing bilateral relations in various fields and reviewed the developments on regional and international arenas.

Saudi King Salman and Sudan’s President Al-Bashir attended the signing ceremony of a framework memorandum of understanding on the Kingdom’s grant to finance a project for providing drinking water in rural areas.

The framework memorandum of understanding was co-signed by Vice President and Managing Director of Saudi Fund for Development Eng. Yousef bin Ibrahim Al-Bassam and Sudanese Minister of State and Director of the President’s Office Taha Osman Al-Hussein.

The talks session and signing ceremony were attended by Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region; and a number of senior officials.
