At least 30 killed in attack targeting shrine in Pakistan’s Sindh province

At least 30 people were killed and 100 others injured when a suicide bomber targeted the shrine of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar in Sehwan, a city located in the Jamshoro District in the Sindh province of Pakistan.

Taluka Hospital Medical Superintendent Moinuddin Siddiqui confirmed that at least 30 bodies have been brought to the hospital while more than 100 injured were shifted to the hospital, Dawn News reported.

“The loud explosion took place inside the complex of the shrine near the gate,” the Assistant Superintendent of Police in Sehwan told Geo News.

The shrine is known to be frequented by large numbers of people on Thursdays.
