Egypt Air flight detours after bird gashes front glass
An Egypt Air flight from Aswan to Cairo was forced to return to its boarding point on Friday after a bird hit and smashed the Embraer E170 jet gashing its front glass.
According to a company official, the plane had to return to Aswan to be replaced by another that especially flew from Cairo.
All passengers were booked at a hotel near Aswan awaiting the arrival of the replacement plane.
