Angelina Jolie and her children decided to taste some adventurous food.

While in Cambodia for the screening of the film she directed “They Killed My Father,” Angelina Jolie and her children – apart from enjoying some local cuisine – decided to taste some adventurous food.

“I think it’s always been a part of the diet, the bugs,” Jolie said during an interview with BBC’s Yalda Hakim. “But then I think there is a truth to the survival during the war of course. When people were being starved, they were able to survive on things like this and they did.”

During the interview, Jolie showed twins Knox and Vivienne how to cook up some spiders. After, Vivienne helped her mother put them in the skillet for some added flavor.

“It’s actually really good, the flavor,” the actress said.

“I think it’s always been a part of the diet, the bugs…When people were being starved, they were able to survive on things like this and they did,” she added.
