Arab Coalition: Houthi rockets smuggled through Yemen port to bomb Saudi cities

Also, the coalition announced that the Royal Saudi air force intercepted four ballistic missiles launched by the Yemeni Houthi militias towards the cities of Khamis Mushayt and Abha at 6.30 am on Tuesday.

The Coalition Command to Support the Legitimacy in Yemen said Tuesday, that the bombing of Saudi border cities was being carried out using rockets that were smuggled through the port of Al-Hodeidah.

Also, the coalition announced that the Royal Saudi air force intercepted four ballistic missiles launched by the Yemeni Houthi militias towards the cities of Khamis Mushayt and Abha at 6.30 am on Tuesday and they were intercepted and destroyed without causing any damage.

The Command said in a statement today the Coalition air forces immediately targeted the launching sites. The coalition added that the ongoing targeting of cities by militia with ballistic missiles provided the strongest evidence of the continued smuggling of weapons to Yemen, especially from the port of Hodeidah.

Al Arabiya obtained a video showing fragments of the ballistic missile in one of the Khamis Mushayt farms after it was intercepted by the Saudi air force.

The Arab Coalition has requested the port of Hodeidah be placed under the control of the United Nations, after dozens of Somali refugees were killed off the Yemen coast.
