Emirates, Scoot planes collide at Singapore airport

Emirates Airways flight EK 405 from Singapore to Dubai suffered minor damage after it collided with a Scoot aircraft.


Emirates Airways flight EK 405 from Singapore to Dubai suffered minor damage after it collided with a Scoot aircraft on Thursday.

The Scoot flight, bound for Tianjin, China, was taxiing before take-off when the accident happened at 1.40am.

The left wing of the Scoot plane came into contact with the Emirates aircraft.

All passengers on both flights were safe and no injuries were sustained, however both aircrafts are undergoing repairs.

Airport officials are working with relevant authorities to investigate the incident.
