Saudi crown prince discusses enhancing bilateral ties with Britain’s PM
Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz met with British Prime Minister Theresa May in Riyadh on Tuesday to discuss enhancing bilateral ties between the two countries.
During the meeting, they discussed the joint cooperation to combat extremism and fight against terrorism in addition to the latest developments in the region and the two countries’ stances towards them.
The meeting was attended by a number of officials.
May was expected to explore ways of boosting trade ties with the kingdom during her two-day visit, her second to a Gulf Arab state since Britain decided to leave the EU. Saudi Arabia is the UK’s largest Middle East trading partner, with British exports worth £6.57 billion in 2015.
