Shoura calls on Education Ministry to revise plans to cope with Vision 2030

The Shoura Council has called on the Education Ministry to revise its policies, objectives and educational projects to cope with the strategic educational objectives of Vision 2030.

The call came after Council members listened to a presentation by the Committee of Education and Scientific Research based on the ministry’s annual report on Tuesday.

The Council asked the ministry to develop teaching of the English language in general-education schools via advanced training and qualification programs for teachers. The Council also called on the ministry to reflect the image of women in school syllabuses as major players in communal development.
