Pakistani PM Sharif schedules visit to Saudi Arabia to discuss Gulf rift

Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has scheduled a visit to Saudi Arabia to discuss the diplomatic rift in the Middle East.


:: Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has scheduled a visit to Saudi Arabia to discuss matters with Saudi leadership regarding the diplomatic rift in the Gulf.

During the scheduled visit, the Sharif is expected to discuss the importance of Muslim world unity after many countries had cut ties with Qatar, Dawn News reported on Monday.

Lawmakers at the Pakistani National Assembly have become concerned about the consequences of the diplomatic rift, urging the Gulf states involved to “show restraint and resolve their differences through dialogue”.
