King Salman holds meeting with Saudi Council of Ministers

King Salman meets with the Council of Ministers, Monday evening.


:: King Salman said on Monday evening during a meeting with the Council of Ministers that the Kingdom’s dedication to serve the Two Holy Mosques is an honor and a source of pride to Saudis.

King Salman briefed the ministers on the details of his meeting with the presidents of Pakistan and Yemen, his talks with the Iraqi prime minister, the calls he received from the Russian president and the British prime minister and the outcome of his meeting with the Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Acknowledgment of the efforts of the naval forces

The Council of Ministers commended the efforts exerted by the Saudi naval forces to confront three boats which entered the Kingdom’s territorial waters and uncovering their scheming intents, stressing the continuation of the Kingdom’s fight against terrorism and its constant efforts to protect the homeland from any aggression.

The council condemned the attack of three trucks belonging to the King Salman Relief Center during an emergency operation in the city of Marib. The act is seen as a threat to humanitarian work and the delivary of aid to their beneficiaries.

King Salman stressed that the actions of the Houthi militias will not deter the continuation of humanitarian work in Yemen.

He also denounced the terrorist attack that targeted worshipers near Finsbury Park mosque in northern London.
