Report: Israel set to start building border wall with Lebanon

Among the reasons for constructing a wall is to slow down Hezbollah militants entering Israel.

:: The Israeli Defense Forces are set to start construction on a security fence along the Lebanese-Israeli border on July, according Israel National News.

Among the reasons for constructing a wall is to slow down Hezbollah militants entering Israel.

The wall will begin construction in the western Galilee, near Hanita and Shlomi. Additional construction will occur to the north, near Metula and Manara.

Tensions have risen between Hezbollah and its longtime foe Israel in recent months since Donald Trump became US president with his tough talk against Iran. Israel’s air force chief said his country would use all its strength from the start in any new war with Hezbollah.
