Adele hints at retirement in emotional farewell to her fans

Singer Adele accepts the award for Song of The Year for “Hello” during The 59th GRAMMY Awards at STAPLES Center.

:: Adele has hinted at finally retiring after penning an emotional handwritten note to her fans attending the final leg of her world-wide tour of album 25.

Those attending the first of her final four London shows at Wembley Stadium found a note from the British singing sensation in their programs announcing she was done with life on the road.

“So this is it. After 15 months on the road and 18 months of [the album] 25, we are at the end,” the 29-year-old singer wrote.

“Touring is a peculiar thing, it doesn’t suit me particularly well. I’m a real homebody and I get so much joy in the small things. Plus I’m dramatic and have a terrible history of touring. Until now that is!”
