Qatar admits that it is against the Arab coalition in Yemen

Qatari Minister of State for Defense Affairs, Khalid bin Mohammed al-Attiyah.

:: The justifications and the contradictions in statements have become characteristic of Qatar’s statements.

Qatar admitted that it was compelled to join the Arab Coalition to restore legitimacy in Yemen, in a clear and implicit admission that it was from the very beginning, against the legitimacy coalition in Yemen.

These remarks were made by the Qatari Minister of State for Defense Affairs, Khalid bin Mohammed al-Attiyah in an interview with Turkey’s TRT World.

The details were published by the official Qatar News Agency. Al-Attiyah also pointed out that the Qatari forces did not participate in the operations inside Yemen, and that it was only confined to the Saudi-Yemeni border.

This statement reinforces the announcement made by the leadership of the Coalition of the Legitimacy in Yemen, which decided to end Qatar’s alliance due to its practices that promote terrorism and support its organizations in Yemen as well as its connections and dealings with the Houthi militias in Yemen.

Why didn’t Qatar show a stronger initiative in Yemen? Its limited involvement with almost 1,000 individuals on the Saudi border was symbolic and not serious in eliminating its terrorist allies inside Yemen.

This proves conclusively that it was financing and supporting them publicly and secretly through its charitable associations and its “internationally-wanted” mediators.

The Arab coalition led by Saudi Arabia in Yemen, became aware of the quirks of Doha immediately after the antiterrorism countries boycotted Qatar.

The coalition ended the participation of Qatar in hope that it will put an end its illegal actions.
