:: The US-based actress, Ahd Kamel, is currently filming a television series of a joint production between Netflix and the BBC.

Kamel will appear together with British actress Carey Mulligan from The Great Gatsby and British actress July Namir who is of Egyptian and Turkish origins.

The young Saudi actress is well-known to her audience for playing the hardline character of Hessa in the film “Wadjda”, one of Saudi Arabia’s most acclaimed film works.

Little is known about her role except that she will play the role of a Muslim girl called Fatima who lives in London.
