Slain Palestinians’ relatives to perform Hajj as king’s guests

:: Preparations are complete for the arrival of 1,000 relatives of Palestinians killed by Israeli forces to perform this year’s Hajj as guests of King Salman.

Abdullah Al-Madalj, secretary-general of the King Salman bin Abdul Aziz General Secretariat for Hajj and Umrah, said the arrangements include accommodation, transport and food.

The program, in its ninth year, recognizes the heroism of Palestinians who gave their lives to uphold their rights, he said, adding that hosting their families will ease the pain of losing their loved ones.

“It’s also an extension of support by the Kingdom for the Palestinian cause,” he said.
