:: Dubai Civil Defense have put out a small fire that erupted at a construction site with no injuries reported so far, Dubai Media Office said on their official Twitter account.

The adjoining Jumeirah St. road next to the construction site was partially cordoned off for on Sunday traffic has been diverted as firefighters worked to put out the blaze.

The fire on Sunday comes just weeks after a fire ripped through one of the world’s tallest residential towers – popularly known as The Torch tower – in Dubai on August 4.

The UAE revised its building safety code in 2013 to require cladding on all new buildings over 15 meters (50 feet) tall be fire-resistant, but older buildings are exempt. Most of Dubai’s approximately 250 high-rise buildings use cladding panels with thermoplastic cores, UAE media have previously reported.
