:: Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi is scheduled to meet Wednesday with US delegation to the Middle East headed by Jared Kushner, senior advisor to US President Donald Trump.
A meeting scheduled between Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and Kushner was canceled after the Egyptian foreign ministry issued a statement expressing its regret over the reduction of US aid to Egypt in millions of dollars.
Egypt expressed its regret on Wednesday over a United States decision to deny it $95.7 million in aid and to delay a further $195 million, adding that it may have a negative impact on common interests, its Foreign Ministry said.
The amount is part sums allocated under the program of aid to Egypt.
