Emir of Mecca: Number of pilgrims from Qatar greater than last year

:: Prince Khalid al-Faisal, the governor of the Mecca region and chairman of the Hajj Central Committee, said that the number of pilgrims coming from outside Saudi Arabia is 1,752,014 pilgrims, an increase of 426,263 from last year.

Prince Khalid said that the number of pilgrims from Qatar was registered at 1,564 pilgrims, compared to 1,210 from last year.

He announced that authorities are preparing to transport 365,000 pilgrims.

The Emir of Mecca also congratulated the leadership and all participants on the success of the first days of the Hajj.

Prince Khalid al-Faisal arrived in Mina to provide services to the pilgrims.
