London Tube attack suspect identified as Syrian refugee Yahyah Farroukh

:: Police have identified Syrian refugee, Yahyah Farroukh, 21, as a suspect behind the London Tube attack on Saturday.

Farroukh was tackled by four undercover policemen outside a fried chicken restuarant.

The arrest was ordered after CCTV footage emerged showing a suspect setting up the attack.

The footage was filmed near a house in Sunbury-on-Thames, said the report. It shows the man in question carrying a bag on Friday morning, less than two hours before the bombing.

The refugee was fostered by Ron and Penny Jones. The couple’s Surrey house was raided on Saturday. Police have set metal screens around the Jones’ house. Some neighbors claimed that police found explosives on the premises, the report added.

The bombing, which left 29 people injured, was Britain’s fifth terror attack in six months and was claimed by ISIS.

Prime Minister Theresa May announced late Friday that the threat level had been raised to “critical”, and said troops would take over guarding key sites to free police officers for deployment elsewhere.
