Saudi Crown Prince congratulates Sisi on Egypt’s qualification to World Cup

:: Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has congratulated Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi on Egypt’s qualification to the World Cup for the first time in 28 years.

The 2018 World Cup is set to take place in Russia.

The Egyptian president also congratulated the crown prince and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on their qualification to the upcoming World Cup.

In light of the positive events, Sisi wished Saudi Arabia and all the Arab countries continued stability, progress and prosperity.

The Egyptian football team defeated Congo with two goals to one by player Mohammed Salah, moving them forward for the first time in 28 years to the most anticipated football competition.

With their win, the Egyptian team accumulated a total of 12 points putting them ahead of their group. Egypt has a final match against Ghana in Accra.
