:: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) signed on Thursday seven relief projects with international and local organizations for displaced Syrians and refugees along the borders with neighboring countries.

These relief sectors included health, water, environmental sanitation, food security, education and nutrition.

Abdullah Al-Rabeeah, general supervisor of KSRelief, signed the contracts at the center’s headquarters in Riyadh.

Contracts were signed to support health services of Bab Al-Hawa Hospital and the Kafr Nabl Surgical Hospital, the operation of Al-Latamnah Hospital in Northern Hama, rehabilitation of water plants and solid waste management systems in Idlib with assistance in operational expenses, and improvement of the sustainable water situation in the Idlib countryside.

A contract was signed to improve quality and access to education, strengthen the education system in Syria, and another was signed to empower the most-needy families through supporting agriculture and livestock activities in Syria.

The implementation of the second phase has begun through selecting specific and strategic projects in various relief sectors that achieve sustainability and the preservation of human dignity, in addition to reducing the aggravation of the crisis at the humanitarian level.
