SAP Commit to Saudi Vision 2030 Digitization Goals
:: The Kingdom’s biggest public and private sector organizations have announced their commitment to Saudi Vision 2030 and National Transformation Program 2020 goals of digital transformation, with a common theme: Transform or Be Left Behind!
The global economy is being constantly disrupted in the wake of digital technologies, business and governments alike have had to embrace digitization. Under the vision of H.R.H Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Saudi Arabia has embarked on a journey towards the National Transformation Program (NTP) 2020 and Vision 2030. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as a part of this agenda, is inclined to boost the concept of a digital economy and digital culture.
In the event of this shift, the Kingdom Digital Enterprise Transformation Show Powered by digital transformation enabler SAP will bring over 400 Saudi Government and Business leaders to come together and understand, explore the implementation of the latest technologies ranging from Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Internet of Things, and Big Data, powered by Cloud and Mobile applications for their organizations. The Kingdom Digital Enterprise Transformation Show will be taking place at the Burj Rafal Kempinski Hotel in Riyadh, on 7-8 November 2017.

Showing its support for the Kingdom’s digital transformation, SAP recently announced a 4-year SAR 285 million investment plan, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Economy and Planning and Ministry of Communication and Information Technology represented by the National Digitization Office, and plans to launch a cloud innovation hub in the Kingdom.
Supporting the Kingdom’s business innovation, SAP is seeing strong demand for SAP Leonardo, which was announced this year as a platform to enable the Internet of Things innovation, and supports disruptive technologies such as Machine Learning, Blockchain, and Artificial Intelligence in general. SAP provides a highly innovative Internet of Things portfolio, which extends the digital core with adaptive business applications, Big Data management, and connectivity to enable new business processes.”
